Information Technology Manager

This role oversees a modern environment featuring Cisco Meraki, AWS, Synology, Sophos, and Microsoft 365 systems. You’ll collaborate directly with leadership to strengthen security, streamline operations, and support continued growth.Position SummaryThe IT Manager is responsible for managing the Information Technology department and ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of all systems. This includes maintaining and updating infrastructure, evaluating and installing patches, resolving technical issues, commissioning new hardware, and supporting evolving program requirements.Essential FunctionsProvide day-to-day technical leadership and support for IT-related questions and issues.Manage departmental workloads and oversee IT projects as needed.Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all company data.Participate in cross-functional initiatives supporting companywide goals.Evaluate and implement new software solutions to enhance business processes.Assess costs related to hardware and software procurement.Lead data consolidation and system optimization projects.Collaborate with the management team to ensure data quality and process efficiency.Maintain and support infrastructure including Cisco, Synology, AWS, and Sophos systems.Ensure network security and compliance with CMMC and NIST 800-171 rev3 standards.Manage and monitor all Meraki equipment (firewalls, switches, and access points).Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s or advanced degree in Information Technology or a related field.5–7 years of IT management or systems administration experience.Strong background in network security, CMMC compliance, and Meraki equipment management.Proficiency with AWS Server, Microsoft Server 2016 & 2022, Cisco Meraki, Synology, and Sophos.Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure Entra, and Intune.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to leadership.
