Information Technology Network Engineer

On behalf of our client, a leading organization in the energy and utilities sector, we are looking for an experienced IT Network Engineer to join their team.Role Overview: In this role, you will ensure the optimal performance, security, and reliability of IT network systems, carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, implementing changes and upgrades, monitoring infrastructure KPIs, and providing technical support for fault detection and resolution. You will also play a key part in the organization’s transition toward hybrid environments and cloud integration.Your day to day:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure network efficiency and uptimeImplement infrastructure changes and upgrades following change management processesMonitor connectivity, availability, and network KPIsDetect, identify, and resolve IT infrastructure faultsSupport hybrid environment initiatives and cloud service integrationsMeasure and analyze network traffic and performance metricsManage relationships with vendors, outsourcers, and contractorsMust have:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field (Master’s preferred)Minimum 5 years of experience in IT networkingStrong knowledge of Network Security, Cisco, and Fortinet NGFWExperience with cloud platforms (MS Azure, AWS) and third-party cloud networking (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)What’s in for youTicket restaurantContinuous learning opportunities and support for professional developmentBe part of a team that values integrity, initiative, and the drive to make a difference
