Technical Details:VMWare vCenter 7 & 8 -The client’s vCenters are operated centrally by the infrastructure team. The requested actions can be (but not limited to) the creation of resources (vLAN, VM, etc.), the movement of resources, and infrastructure updates (ESX, SAN, vCenter, etc.).The tasks of the consultant will be the creation/deletion/modification of objects or configurations from tickets, the application of system configurations ('hardening' of infrastructures), the deployment of new infrastructures, and infrastructure updates. Creating and/or maintaining scripts to automate them.Windows VM Idemia has more Windows VMs than Linux VMs, the consultant has to be comfortable with these two environments, but more with the Windows environment because Idemia has a lot of Windows VMsThe client uses/deploys Windows VMs (2016/2019/2022) to support the requested applications.The client wants an 'Expert' profile to industrially deploy applications in our VMs that are in our vCenters, associate baselines with them and automate OS versioning.Linux VM The client uses/deploys Linux VMs (Ubuntu 18.04/20.04/22.04) to support the requested applications.The client wants an 'Expert' profile to industrially deploy applications in our VMs that are in our vCenters, associate baselines with them and automate OS versioning.SANThe client uses SANs (Storage Area Networks) and wants to set up their update without interrupting the service.Backup Veeam & Commvault The client uses two backup solutions, one for DataCenters (commvault) and one for small sites (Veeam).
