Information Technology Program Manager

Our client are looking for a Program Manager to join their team for a daily rate contract positionInitial 6 month contract with good potential for longer term extensionsClient is looking for an individual who has experience at the Program Manager level and has worked on Cloud Migrations projects Must be available to attend the office 3 days per week Responsibilities Co-ordinate on cross-project activitiesLead project managers and manage accordingly on week to week progress and activityDevelop and control deadlines, budgets and scope Manage and resolve dependencies between the projects of the programManage the program risks, and embed the risk management process into the program from the outsetCommunicate regularly and effectively with all stakeholders and management Prepare reports for the stakeholders, IT teams and Business leadership units Experience Experience in delivering Cloud Migrations (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) Knowledge of Public Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure)3+ years’ of experience as a Program Manager.Knowledge and experience of different software development life cycles and IT governance models.Understanding of Agile principles and Agile ways of working.Experience of working within, influencing within and networking within a matrix environmentExperience of working with geographically dispersed teamsThorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methodsAbility to create and deliver Executive level communicationsAbility to create and deliver regular & adhoc program reportingExcellent knowledge of MS Office, MS ProjectOutstanding leadership and organisational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent problem solving ability and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job doneHOW TO APPLY:To apply for this role, please submit your updated CV.
