Project Manager – Banking experience preferably with Wealth Management experienceLocation: KL (Damansara)Employment Type: Yearly Renewable contractExperience Level: Mid–Senior LevelAbout the RoleWe’re looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Banking or Wealth Management to lead end-to-end delivery of key technology and business initiatives. The ideal candidate is confident, detail-oriented, and skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes within scope, budget, and timelines.As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned projects — from planning and budgeting to stakeholder management and progress reporting — while ensuring alignment with the PMO framework and organizational objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and successful delivery.Lead project activities across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from initiation to closure.Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to execute projects effectively.Monitor and report project progress, risks, and issues to senior management, recommending solutions where necessary.Drive effective communication across teams, ensuring updates are timely, relevant, and clear.Manage change requests and ensure project scope is tightly controlled with proper approvals.Work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) to align with governance standards and manage project interdependencies.Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 4 years of project management experience, preferably in Banking, Financial Services, or Wealth Management.Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to scope.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.Excellent analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.PMP certification or equivalent is an advantage.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
