IT Support EngineerLeitrim(Onsite)€40–50K, depending on experienceOnly candidates authorised to work in the EU will be considered.MPG Recruitment is delighted to partner with a well-established Irish company seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to provide high-quality technical support and help optimise customer IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.Role OverviewThis role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional who thrives in a hands-on, client-focused environment and enjoys supporting both traditional and cloud-based systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver top-tier phone, email, remote, and occasional onsite support, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issuesTroubleshoot and maintain network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, firewalls, and security systems)Support and manage Microsoft 365 and Azure environmentsMaintain hybrid and cloud-first infrastructure, including backups, disaster recovery, and security solutionsPerform root-cause analysis, take ownership of issues, and follow through to resolutionCollaborate with team members and communicate clearly with clientsSkills & Experience2–3+ years’ experience in a technical or IT support role (Level 2 preferred)Strong understanding of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, and network fundamentalsExcellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently or within a teamRelevant IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, or equivalent) are an advantageStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsIf you’re a proactive IT professional ready to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you.
