Job SummaryBermillan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Administrator to assume technical ownership of the entire light current and IT infrastructure at our new Bermillan Mall. Working in collaboration with our on-site IT Support team, this senior role will focus on the architectural management, security, and optimization of our core network, server, and integrated security systems. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker responsible for ensuring the long-term stability, performance, and resilience of all technology platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork & Security Architecture:Manage, configure, and secure the mall's entire Fortinet Security Fabric, including FortiGate firewalls, Forti Switch infrastructure, and Forti AP wireless solutions.Design and implement network policies, VLAN segmentation, and security protocols to protect critical systems and data.Monitor network performance and security logs, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues.Server and Application Management:Administer the physical and virtual server environment hosting all critical applications.Manage the backend of the Hik Central platform, ensuring the stability and performance of the CCTV and Access Control systems.Oversee the servers and databases for the Hikvision Parking Management and Guidance systems.Perform regular system maintenance, including software updates, patching, and system-wide backups.Project Finalization and Documentation:Play a key role in the final stages of system deployment, including commissioning and the successful completion of the Site Acceptance Test (SAT).Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation of the system architecture, network topology, and configurations.Qualifications and SkillsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a System or Network Administrator role, preferably in a large-scale environment (e.g., shopping mall, hotel, or large corporate campus).Technical Proficiencies (Required):Advanced Networking: Expert-level knowledge of the Fortinet Security Fabric. Fortinet NSE 4 certification or higher is highly desirable.Enterprise Security Systems: Proven experience managing Hikvision's enterprise solutions, specifically the Hik Central VMS/ACS platform.Server Administration: Strong experience with Windows Server administration, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware), and database management.IT Infrastructure: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, structured cabling, and infrastructure best practices.Soft Skills:Excellent analytical and high-level troubleshooting skills.Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives.Clear communication skills for reporting to management and collaborating with vendors.
