Job Title: FIP Business analystLocation: Montreal, QCDuration: 12 Months ContractJob DescriptionThe position at a glanceThe business analyst will work on the implementation of OFS (One Finance System), a General Ledger deployed in the Americas to replace the current one and its related interfaces. This will standardize the Finance processes across CIB and the other regions and create synergies for the Finance function and the bank. In detailThe business analyst will coordinate with IT and internal stakeholders across F&T to ensure on-time quality delivery of the project. (S)he will:
• Establish and conduct meetings to communicate objectives, expectations, project roles, status updates, track open issues, and work with all groups and clients to resolve issues as required. • Drive implementation consistency and quality through execution of project management best practices. • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path items while ensuring project quality• Develop detailed project plans including documentation, testing and executing protocol and tasks• Collect and analyze user requirements and business processes. • Develop functional specification for delivery to IT• Lead project post mortems and communicate lessons learned in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
The strengths and skills that will help you succeed• Experience in business and system analysis (gathering requirements, creating system specifications) in the financial services industry. • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely to audiences of varying technical or accounting levels. • Ability to work effectively in geographically dispersed cross-functional teams. • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • English is a must, French is a plusPreferred Qualifications: • University degree in Finance/Accounting
