We are seeking an Infrastructure and Release Engineer to manage the end-to-end deployment lifecycle — from infrastructure setup and environment maintenance to release automation and middleware administration.The ideal candidate will ensure system reliability, seamless deployments, and efficient release processes through strong technical expertise in middleware, Unix/Linux, scripting, and CI/CD automation.This role bridges operations, development, and DevOps within a large enterprise or financial institution environment, ensuring production stability, scalability, and deployment efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end deployment lifecycle, including infrastructure setup, environment maintenance, and release automation.Administer and support middleware environments, specifically WebLogic and JBoss, including SSL setup and configuration.Perform Unix/Linux system administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.Develop and maintain automation scripts using UNIX Shell and Groovy to support operations and deployment processes.Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Aldon, Ansible, or similar for deployment automation.Coordinate and manage SIT, UAT, and Production environment setups and deployments.Collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Ensure system reliability, security, and smooth release operations under high-pressure conditions.Key RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.6–10 years of experience in infrastructure management, release engineering, or related technical roles.Prior working experience in banking or financial services environments is highly preferred.Proven middleware administration expertise, specifically with WebLogic and JBoss, including SSL setup.Strong hands-on experience in Unix/Linux system administration.Proficiency in UNIX Shell and Groovy scripting for automation.Working knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Aldon, Ansible, or similar.Exposure to Windows Server or Microsoft Dynamics CRM environments (an advantage).Familiarity with IBM MQ, Connect:Direct, FTP/SFTP, or other middleware tools.Basic knowledge of Oracle or SQL databases for validation and troubleshooting.Understanding of networking fundamentals, including load balancers, routing, ports, and SSL certificates.Strong teamwork, adaptability, and the ability to perform under pressure in a global, fast-paced environment.If you wish to send a direct message, kindly send an email to finny@thepositivelinks.comWe have exciting career opportunities to share.
