This role will be hired under Easol for Bullfrog Technologies.Bullfrog TechnologiesBullfrog Technologies is a startup developing innovative inspection methods for composites manufacturing. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to help build not just the technology, but the business itself—engaging with customers, collaborating with our engineering team, and shaping the future of quality control in advanced manufacturing. The RoleThis is a hands-on, cross-functional role ideal for someone with an engineering / technical background, and a passion for solving real-world challenges. You’ll work closely with our technology team, customers, and partners to help understand composite manufacturers’ needs, map their workflows, and implement and refine our inspection solution while contributing to the growth of Bullfrog Technologies. This is a full-time hybrid role, but we will also consider part-time. Minimum attendance of 3 days per week at our Fareham site.Responsibilities include: Customer & Partner EngagementEngage with customers and consortium partners to understand real-world manufacturing challenges.Support pilot deployments and gather feedback to improve inspection workflows.Communicate technical insights in a clear and accessible way to stakeholders.Process Mapping & DocumentationMap and document current manufacturing workflows across the composite line.Identify quality control points and opportunities for inspection or process improvement.Create visual documentation—flowcharts, SOPs, work instructions.Collaboration & Continuous LearningWork closely with technical and production teams to understand composite manufacturing challenges.Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.Stay current on inspection technologies, quality methodologies, and industry best practices.Technology Integration & DevelopmentWork with the engineering team to implement and optimise active thermography inspection using robotic arm systems.Help bridge the gap between cutting-edge inspection tools and day-to-day production.QualificationsWe’re looking for someone who brings energy, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. The following attributes would be helpful (we don’t expect candidates to have all of them, but it would be advantageous):Bachelor’s Degree in any science or engineering field, or equivalent experience.2-4 years’ industry experience in any engineering / innovation field.Comfortable with ambiguity and a strong desire to consistently learn and master new domains.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and swiftly adapt to new technologies, processes, and business requirements. Clear communication skills and ability to document processes effectively.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to influence and build relationships at all levels internally and externally, including partners, suppliers, and customers.Strong interpersonal skills with experience in complex stakeholder management.Understanding of infrared thermography and heat transfer principles and/or other types of non-destructive testing.Knowledge of composites and their manufacturing processes.Experience with AI-based defect detection, machine learning, or deep learning applied to thermographic data.Experience and industry knowledge of the aviation manufacturing industry.
