Junior Design Engineer

Job Title: Junior Design EngineerLocation: PeterboroughSalary: GBP 25,000 : GBP 30,000 per annumWe are seeking a Junior Design Engineer to join an established engineering company based in Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual early in their career who is looking to develop their design skills within a supportive engineering environment.Responsibilities: Assist in creating 3D models and 2D technical drawings using CAD software.: Support senior engineers with product development, design updates, and engineering modifications.: Help prepare documentation, bills of materials, and technical reports.: Contribute to prototyping, testing, and project support activities.: Work collaboratively with engineering, production, and project teams.: Ensure designs meet quality, performance, and manufacturing requirements.Requirements: Degree, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.: Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks or similar preferred).: Strong interest in engineering design and product development.: Good communication and teamwork skills.: Eager to learn, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks.If you are looking to build your career as a Design Engineer, please apply or contact Charlotte White at for further details.
