DescriptionWhat We’re Looking For:Join Meltwater's Client Insights team, where you'll step into the role of an Insights Analyst, contributing to our bespoke reports and project management for esteemed clients. Your analytical skills will shape customized reports and assist in managing key projects, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative media analysis to offer actionable insights. Working closely with internal teams and clients, you'll ensure timely delivery of high-quality reports, continuously refining techniques to meet evolving client needs. As a pivotal member of our data-driven approach, you'll collect, organize, and analyze customer research metrics to inform critical business decisions. Lead on newsletter and report production for clients using the Meltwater platform. This can involve the quantitative and qualitative analysis of news and social media data through traditional media research methodologies and generative AI tools to provide clients with actionable insights on brand perception, media performance, and industry trendsGrow the team’s expertise in Government and/or PR/marketing insights research, specifically for the Southeast Asian marketIndependently generate newsletter or report templates, build queries, and process data where needed (e.g. determine relevance, translate articles, visualise data, etc.) Maintain high standards of quality in accuracy, formatting and visual consistency, as well as timeliness of deliveryTroubleshoot and address client or internal stakeholder queries and concernsAssist, or in some instances, lead in project management. This can include tracking delivery deadlines, managing vendors and ensuring the data hygiene of internal metricsContribute towards team initiatives (e.g. workflow optimisation, project renewal)All other relevant tasks as assigned Who You Are:1-3 years of relevant work experience. Experience in Southeast Asian government or Southeast Asian media or consumer insights research would be highly advantageous. Fresh graduates with strong academic and internship profiles with keen interest in media insights may applyExcellent written and spoken English. This role requires you to communicate with English-speaking clients and colleagues frequently, and produce deliverables in EnglishAble to read and translate Chinese to English at a high level, with the assistance of machine translation toolsAble to work early hours (5am - 2pm) regularly for newsletter production. Able to flexibly support ad-hoc client deliverables on public holidays and weekends when required (e.g. crisis or campaign reporting). Overtime pay is providedEffectively work in geographically distributed remote teams, combining self-motivation with clear, consistent communicationProficient in Microsoft and Google Suite including PivotTable, VLOOKUP, and similar functions. Knowledge of Python, Google Apps Script and R is a plusComfortable working with generative AI tools to derive trends and actionable insights Demonstrated ability in critical thinking and problem-solvingDemonstrated leadership potentialThrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to new challenges.
