Job DescriptionThe Installation Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of project installations, ensuring that customer requirements are met efficiently and professionally. This role serves as the main point of contact for installation-related activities, coordinating with internal teams, installers, and customers to deliver successful projects on time and within budget. The Installation Coordinator ensures smooth scheduling, documentation, and communication throughout the installation process.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate installation activities in conjunction with Project Managers (PM) and Sales Engineers (SE). Assign installers to each project and manage workload distribution. Maintain and manage the installation calendar to optimize scheduling and resources. Acquire and manage third-party installers when needed to support project demands. Process installation invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Act as the customer’s primary point of contact for installation-related issues and resolutions. Organize and coordinate required skill development and safety training for installation staff. Participate in weekly production review meetings to provide updates and align with project timelines. Conduct site surveys to evaluate conditions and project requirements. Perform site consultations with customers to confirm expectations and installation details. Coordinate project shipments with production to ensure timely delivery to job sites. QualificationsQualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in installation coordination, project coordination, or related role. Strong organizational and scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with construction, installation, or field service environments preferred. Excellent communication skills with customers, installers, and cross-functional teams. Ability to solve problems quickly and manage project issues proactively. Proficiency in scheduling, document management, and ERP/project software. Skills & CompetenciesStrong coordination and planning abilities. Customer service–oriented with problem-solving mindset. Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and follow-through. Ability to manage and motivate internal staff and third-party installers. Knowledge of safety standards and best practices for installation work. Working Conditions: Sitting for prolonged periods of time (computer-based work)Must be able to enter a plant/warehouse (can range in temperature, humidity and dust levels). Must be able to wear required safety equipment. Occasional bending (at knees) or lifting boxes/packages 2-30 lbs.
