University of Management and Technology (UMT) – LahoreCenter for Educational Innovation (CEI)Position: Instructional DesignerRole Overview: The Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality digital learning content for MS and BS programs. The role involves applying learning theories and instructional design models (especially ADDIE) to create engaging, interactive, and effective online and blended learning experiences. The incumbent will collaborate closely with faculty and project teams to align content with institutional goals and support faculty in using innovative design tools.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop courses for MS and BS programsCreate interactive and gamified digital learning materialsApply ADDIE and other learning design modelsEvaluate course effectiveness using learner feedbackCollaborate with faculty members and project teamsEnsure alignment with institutional learning objectivesSupport faculty in the use of instructional design and e-learning toolsRequirements:MS/MPhil in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related fieldExperience in designing MS/BS and blended learning coursesProficiency in LMS (Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard)Skilled in Storyline, Captivate, and IllustratorStrong understanding of learning theories and the ADDIE frameworkExcellent communication and project management skillsInnovative, detail-oriented, and AI-literateJob Type: Full-time (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM) Location: Center for Educational Innovation – UMT, LahoreApplication Process:Interested candidates are invited to send their expression of interest along with a brief profile/CV to: 📧 recruitment@umt.edu.pkPlease make sure to mention the position title “Instructional Designer” in the email subject line while applying.
