Join us and help shape the future of IT.Scope of Position:The SIEM Integration Specialist will play a critical role in strengthening the organization’s cybersecurity posture by integrating telecom network systems including 2G, 4G, and 5G nodes—into the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform. This position requires deep expertise in ArcSight architecture and components, with hands-on involvement in developing log parsers, onboarding new data sources, and designing threat detection use cases specific to telecom environments. The specialist will serve as the bridge between network operations and security teams, ensuring that complex telecom infrastructures are continuously monitored, correlated, and protected against evolving cyber threats.Key Responsibilities:Integrate 2G, 4G, 5G, and other telecom network elements into the enterprise SIEM platform, ensuring complete visibility across network domains.Design, develop, and maintain custom log parsers to handle telecom-specific data sources, ensuring accurate normalization and correlation within ArcSight.Develop, fine-tune, and optimize ArcSight correlation rules, dashboards, and alerts to detect potential threats and anomalies in telecom environments.Collaborate with network, security, and operations teams to identify and implement new threat detection use cases tailored to telecom infrastructure.Manage and optimize ArcSight SIEM components (ESM, Logger, SmartConnectors) for performance, scalability, and stability.Perform continuous onboarding of new systems and data sources into SIEM, validating log integrity, field mappings, and correlation logic.Conduct health checks, maintenance, and upgrades of SIEM infrastructure to ensure high availability and security compliance.Support incident response teams by providing actionable threat insights, forensic data, and log analysis from ArcSight.Document integrations, parsing logic, and detection rules in alignment with internal security standards and best practices.Stay current with emerging threats, telecom security trends, and SIEM technology advancements to continually improve detection capabilities.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.5+ years of experience in SIEM integration and management, preferably within telecom environments.Proven hands-on expertise in Micro Focus ArcSight (ESM, Logger, Smart Connectors, Flex Connector development).Strong understanding of telecom network architectures (2G/3G/4G/5G) and their associated protocols (SS7, Diameter, SIP, etc.).Experience developing and tuning log parsers, correlation rules, and use cases specific to telecom threats and anomalies.Proficiency with log management, normalization, and enrichment processes.Knowledge of common attack vectors, threat detection frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK), and incident response workflows.Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and parser customization.Familiarity with other SIEM or SOAR platforms is a plus (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel).Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with experience collaborating across security and network operations teams.Equal Opportunity StatementAt Acuative, we believe our strength comes from our people—and that includes people from all backgrounds.
