Job Description

Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and technically skilled Specialist – Technical Engineering to support maintenance system optimization, documentation, and compliance activities at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This role will focus on data entry and system maintenance in MAXIMO, along with support in technical documentation, job plan creation, and drawing management. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, familiarity with engineering documentation, and hands-on experience with MAXIMO. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform accurate data entry in MAXIMO to support asset management, preventive maintenance, and job planning activities.

Create, update, and maintain equipment data sheets, job plans, and technical documentation in alignment with compliance and operational standards. Review and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and schematics for proper documentation and system support. Ensure systems such as utilities, calibration, electrical, and process maintenance are supported with accurate technical records in MAXIMO. Provide technical support during regulatory audits (e. g. , FDA) and assist with documentation for audit readiness and responses. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to evaluate and implement system improvements and changes.

Assist in the development and execution of audit programs for internal compliance and continuous improvement efforts. Support investigations related to alert/action notifications from clean utility and environmental monitoring systems. Contribute to the evaluation of maintenance procedures and propose documentation or system changes as needed. Preferred QualificationsExperience working with MAXIMO in a technical/engineering or maintenance support role is required. Proficient in creating and maintaining job plans, equipment records, and technical documents. Strong ability to interpret and organize technical drawings and specifications.

Familiarity with GMP, FDA, and other regulatory standards relevant to maintenance and facilities operations in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment. Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work cross-functionally.
