As an Intelligence Analyst, you will be a substantive expert for MENA, knowledgeable of security and political issues of the region, and able to speak with confidence about such concerns. Based in Singapore, you will be expected to monitor real-time events in MENA, prioritize those situations of potential concern to clients, and draft well-written intelligence products with minimal supervision. You will be committed to providing timely, accurate, and relevant intelligence to customers through brief tactical alerts, in-depth assessments, and periodic long-form reports. In addition, you will be expected to respond professionally to quick-turnaround client requests in writing or provide verbal briefings. The incumbent will be a self-starter who is composed under pressure and will have the ability to produce high-quality written products in English.What You Will Work OnServes as subject matter expert for countries within the MENA region Monitors sources for events, concerns, or indicators of matter that may have personal safety or business continuity ramificationsDrafts concise, accurate, error-free intelligence Interact professionally with clients in written and verbal communicationsPerforms backup duties related to other regionsOther duties and responsibilities as assigned by the managerShift work and flexibility in scheduling are required to meet our 24/7/365 missionWhat You Will BringA master’s degree in a related discipline (e.g., international relations, political science, security studies, intelligence studies, economics)Fluency in English is requiredCommunicating effectively, clearly expressing ideas and information verbally and in writingDetailing current knowledge of political and security dynamics of the MENA regionExcellent online (OSINT) and offline research skills, and ability to collate, process, and exploit intelligence from large volumes of informationDeveloping understanding of how to assess information validity and source reliabilityCreative and critical approach to research, analysis, and knowledge from varied sourcesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team under pressure.Legally entitled to work in SingaporeAdvantageous AttributesArabic, Hebrew, Persian, and other relevant regional languages
