Interim CFO PE-Backed Infrastructure Ireland6–12 Months Immediate StartPearse Professionals are supporting a leading European infrastructure investor in appointing an Interim CFO. The organisation operates essential infrastructure assets and is at an early stage of its growth journey.With no existing finance function in place, the Interim CFO will be responsible for building core financial processes, controls and reporting frameworks from the ground up. You will act as the key finance partner to the CEO and the investor, ensuring robust financial management during a critical period of value creation.Key Responsibilities:Establish the full finance function from scratch (processes, reporting, controls, governance)Own all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash managementBuild, maintain and improve financial models to support investment proposals and value-creation planningDevelop KPI dashboards, management reporting packs and investor materialsOversee external advisors (audit, tax, banking, legal)Support commercial decision-making and operational performance across operating assetsEnsure compliance, financial discipline and scalable infrastructure as the business growsCandidate Profile:Experienced CFO or senior finance leader with a track record in private equity or infrastructure-backed environmentsStrong background in building or transforming finance functions in small / early-stage or carve-out settingsHigh competency in financial modelling, investment analysis and supporting transaction-related activitiesUnderstanding of operating assets and regulated / infrastructure environmentsHands-on, independent operator comfortable working with limited existing processesAble to work on-site in Ireland as required
