This role will provide steady leadership during a period of transition and transformation, ensuring robust financial management, compliance with local regulations, and alignment with global corporate standards.The successful candidate will be a hands-on, commercially minded finance leader experience capable of improving controls, and partnering closely with senior management to drive performance and profitability.ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Business PartneringLead the financial strategy for the Saudi Arabian subsidiary in alignment with global corporate objectives.Provide high-level support and challenge to the Regional Managing Director and Executive Team.Deliver insights on business performance, market trends, and cost optimisation opportunities.Contribute to long-term planning, investment analysis, and strategic decision-making.Financial Management & ReportingOversee accurate and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP requirements, and internal corporate reporting standards.Manage budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis.Oversee cash flow management, treasury operations, and working capital optimisation.Governance, Controls & ComplianceStrengthen internal controls, risk management, and audit readiness.Ensure full compliance with Saudi tax laws, ZATCA regulations, and international reporting requirements.Liaise with external auditors, regulators, banks, and corporate headquarters.Operational & Commercial SupportSupport commercial teams on contract evaluation, pricing strategies, cost tracking, and project profitability.Provide oversight on capex projects, investment cases, and asset management processes.Drive process improvements across finance operations, including potential system enhancements or ERP optimisation.Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop a local finance team to ensure high performance and succession capability.Facilitate knowledge transfer and handover processes should the role transition into a permanent position.QualificationsCandidate ProfileExperience & BackgroundProven senior finance leadership experienceExperience working within international corporations or multinational matrix environments.Prior success in interim, transformation, or turnaround leadership roles is advantageous.Skills & CompetenciesStrategic thinker with a hands-on approach.Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.Strong analytical and commercial acumen.Ability to lead during periods of change, ambiguity, or restructuring.Resilient, adaptable, and culturally aware.English speaker, Arabic and advantage.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalent preferred.Job BenefitsContract DetailsInitial term: 6 monthsExtensions: Possible extension to 12 months, with potential for permanent placementStart Date: 1 January 2026Compensation: Euro 120,000 + 25% bonus + Private Health CareFD Capital are a leading recruiter for International FD Roles
