📣HIRING: Short-term Opportunity - Lawyer for Climate ResilienceAre you a lawyer passionate about the EU’s response to the climate crisis? 🇪🇺🌡️We’re looking for an interim Lawyer to support the development of a new European Framework for #ClimateResilience - a flagship initiative to be adopted by the European Commission next year.In this role, you will contribute to drafting a proposal for a new legal framework to help the EU and its Member States strengthen climate resilience. Depending on the ongoing impact assessment, the framework may include:🔹Common definitions, objectives and goals for climate resilience🔹A common reference temperature scenario/trajectory for resilience decisions🔹Provisions on climate-risk assessments and planning🔹Clarification of risk ownership🔹A toolbox to support public and private actors in preparing for future climate realities.
