Interior Design Lead

We are hiring a talented and visionary Design Lead to join our creative team at Ithra Design.This role is ideal for a passionate interior designer with strong leadership skills, exceptional creative direction, and the ability to manage luxury design projects from concept to final delivery.ResponsibilitiesCreative Leadership & Concept DevelopmentLead all stages of design from concept creation to final drawings for luxury projects.Translate client requirements into refined design concepts aligned with Ithra’s architectural and visual identity.Review and approve all creative output including concepts, materials, FF&E, color palettes, and moodboards.Conduct internal brainstorming sessions and guide the team toward innovative, functional, and aesthetic solutions.Team Management & Project OversightSupervise the full design team (designers, FF&E specialists, 3D artists).Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure delivery within defined timelines.Hold weekly internal review meetings to evaluate performance, discuss challenges, and ensure design alignment.Train, mentor, and support the career growth of designers, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and development.Client Communication & PresentationsRepresent Ithra Design in meetings and design presentations with clients and consultants.Present concepts, explain design rationales, and gather client feedback clearly and professionally.Convert client notes into clear design actions without compromising the integrity of the creative vision.Participate in coordination meetings, site visits, and design workshops as needed.Technical Coordination & Quality AssuranceReview detailed drawings, plans, specifications, and FF&E schedules before issuance.Ensure all technical documents accurately reflect the approved design direction.Collaborate with execution partners, technical teams, and fabrication workshops (including Rakaz Industrial) to validate materials and prototypes.Oversee quality checks across all project phases to maintain accuracy, aesthetics, and compliance with Ithra’s standards.Innovation & Standards DevelopmentStay updated on global design trends, materials, technologies, and luxury design references.Contribute to building and updating Ithra’s internal design standards, CMF libraries, and material catalogs.Encourage a culture of creativity and research within the team.Key ObjectivesEnhance design quality and ensure all projects reflect Ithra’s identity of luxury, refinement, and precision.Ensure adherence to project timelines with smooth, organized workflows.Standardize design and technical deliverables across the team.Strengthen internal talent and improve team performance through leadership and mentorship.Improve overall client experience and satisfaction by delivering impeccable design presentations and complete design packages.Support business development with high-quality conceptual presentations and proposals.Ensure alignment between design and execution phases to reduce errors and elevate project outcomes.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.6–10 years of experience in interior design, including at least 3 years in a Lead/Senior position.Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in luxury residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.Strong understanding of materials, FF&E, detailing, and design documentation.Expertise in AutoCAD, 3D software (3ds Max/SketchUp), Adobe Suite, and related tools.Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to manage fast-paced projects and deliver under tight deadlines.Please send your CV & Portfolio to:📧 careers@ithradesign.com
