Intermediate DevOps Engineer - Dayshift/WFH

As our DevOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure. You'll be a vital part of the DevOps team, working closely with engineering teams and company-wide stakeholders to streamline infrastructure that power our global tourism platform.This is a hands-on, high-impact position focused on automating cloud infrastructure, managing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting the scalability and reliability of our applications across environments. You'll also help standardize and migrate infrastructure from acquisitions.If you're passionate about reliability, automation, and scaling secure cloud platforms — we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement infrastructure tools and automation using Python, Bash, Terraform, or Nix to enhance the scalability, reliability, and performance of platforms.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to support multiple development teams.Monitor system performance and availability, providing analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement.Practice sustainable incident response and promote blameless postmortems.Develop and uphold service-level objectives (SLOs), service-level indicators (SLIs), and error budgets for our services.Participate in on-call rotations, responding to and mitigating service interruptions and technical challenges.Must-Have Qualifications3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering.Proficiency in Python, Bash, TerraformProduction-grade Docker and Kubernetes experience.Experience scaling MySQL and PostgreSQLKnowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, NewRelic)Solid troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication skills to collaborate with development teams, operations, and other stakeholders.Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.Nice-to-Have SkillsProven experience with identity services, including Entra ID and Active Directory.Strong background in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to support multiple development teams.Hands-on experience scaling and managing Azure PostgreSQL in production environments.Proficient in deploying and managing Kubernetes operators such as external-secrets, cert-manager, and external-dns.Familiarity with service mesh and API gateway technologies, including Istio and Linkerd.Solid understanding of zero-trust access models and cloud-native security best practices.What You'll BringA passion for infrastructure automation and platform scalability.Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical teams.A pragmatic, security-conscious mindset.Initiative and ownership in a fast-moving environment.What We OfferCompetitive salary tailored to your experience and impact.The opportunity to shape the future of travel tech.A collaborative, forward-thinking team culture focused on continuous learning.Projects that make a tangible impact in the tourism industry.
