You will design, build and automate systems that power our data products and services with a focus on scalability, performance and security.We're looking for someone who thrives in automation, coding and infrastructure-as-code. You will be a key contributor to how we scale globally across AWS and Alibaba Cloud, working alongside product and data teams to deliver cloud-native solutions that drive real business value.This role is ideal for an engineer who wants to move fast, automate everything and set new standards for how infrastructure is built and operated.Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure as Code: Build, manage and scale infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible,establishing best practices.Cloud Engineering: Configure and optimize cloud environments in AWS and Alibaba Cloud, focusingon scalability, cost efficiency and security, recommending and implementing improvementsproactively.CI/CD & Automation: Design and maintain automated deployment pipelines (Jenkins, GitOps,containers) for reliable and repeatable delivery.Monitoring & Optimization: Implement observability, monitoring, and cost-optimization frameworks toensure high system performance and compliance.Collaboration: Partner with product engineering and data teams to deliver solutions that enable fastexperimentation and reliable production services.Operations: Provide BAU operational support for critical data infrastructure and pipelines, drivingroot cause resolution and automating manual processes.Innovation: Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies that improve infrastructureresilience, speed and developer experience.Requirements:Expert level experience with Terraform and AnsibleExpert level experience with Linux administration, scripting and troubleshootingStrong database configuration knowledge (MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis, Snowflake) andweb stack familiarity (nginx, haproxy, php, node).Solid experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Docker-based pipelines)Strong understanding of multi-region AWS services (VPC, EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, Route53, IAM,API Gateway).Knowledge of network security, compliance frameworks and vulnerability management tools (e.g.,AWS Inspector, Patch Manager).Familiarity with Alibaba Cloud and multi-cloud operationsBackground supporting data infrastructure (databases, ETL pipelines, messaging systems)A mindset focused on automation-first, repeatability and reliabilityFocus on delivering a quality experience to customers3+ years working in cloud-native environments at scaleBonus Skills:Experience with ETL workflows, Snowflake or modern data pipeline toolsExposure to machine learning or data science pipelines for model training and deploymentSecurity-first mindset with exposure to compliance and vulnerability management tools
