Intern - Sustainable Investments (Data & Power BI)

This is a 3-month internship opportunity from November 2025 to February 2026, interested students must be available to work on full-time basis in the beginning with possibility to convert to part-time basis in 2026.Role Summary We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Computer Science or Business/Data Analyst Intern to join the Sustainable Investments Team at Fullerton Fund Management. The intern will play a key role in supporting the ESGConnect project — a Power BI platform that integrates financial and ESG-related data to support investment decisions and ESG analysis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability and data analytics, with strong technical skills and an eagerness to see how data-driven ESG insights can create investment value (ESG alpha). Key duties and responsibilitiesMaintain and enhance the ESGConnect Power BI dashboard, ensuring data accuracy, usability, and visual consistency.Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve and transform data from databases such as Snowflake Collaborate closely with the Sustainable Investments, Data Management, and Technology & Transformation teams to integrate and streamline ESG and financial data sources.Build and maintain data transformation models using dbt to ensure clean, consistent, and auditable datasets for reporting.Develop and modify Python scripts for data automation, cleaning, and transformation.Support end-to-end testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of Power BI updates.Document workflows, data dictionaries, and configuration changes.Deliver a real-world implementation of data and dashboarding use cases, hosting the firm’s portfolio holdings and supporting investment group stakeholders in real-time decision-making. Technical Competencies Pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, or related fields.Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with familiarity in Snowflake and dbt preferred.Hands-on experience with Power BI dashboard creation, configuration, or DAX queries.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Curious, proactive, and willing to learn how ESG data drives investment decisions.Interest in sustainable finance, data visualization, or ESG analytics is a plus.
