This role focuses on developing AI-driven analytics solutions that support Test and Yield Management operations. You will help build intelligent monitoring systems that generate automated triggers and alerts for production holds, excursions, and quality issues — enabling improved operational efficiency.Responsibilities & CompetenciesJob DutiesDevelop data pipelines and dashboards to monitor semiconductor test and yield metricsBuild automated triggers and alert frameworks for anomaly detection and excursion managementSupport integration between manufacturing data systems and analytics platformsAssist in defining hold criteria and risk monitoring logic within enterprise applicationsCollaborate with Engineering, Operations, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutionsCompetenciesWell organized with strong attention to detail; proactively ensures work is accurateSelf-motivated and aptitude to learn quicklyPositive attitude and work ethic; unafraid to ask questions and explore new ideas Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong sense of professionalismQualifications (Requirements)Candidates should be seeking a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with Python and SQL for data analysisUnderstanding of basic statistics and anomaly detection conceptsFamiliarity with dashboards or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) preferredInterest in enterprise applications, automation, and semiconductor operationsAble to work independently at times and dedicate a minimum of 20 hours/weekMust be legally authorized to work in Taiwan without restrictionMust be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your employment and criminal historyMust be 18 years of age or olderBelief in DiversitySynaptics is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to workforce diversity.
