Through initiatives that protect our workers at work, transform careers, manage the cost of living, help with financial resilience and health, and nurture relationships for families, we champion every worker through every touch point as we work towards better wages, welfare, and work prospects.Because Every Worker Matters.The intern will support the Women and Family (WAF) team in research and advocacy efforts related to women’s employment and workplace inclusion. This includes conducting policy research, analysing support schemes, and developing communication materials to promote key advocacy messages. Key Responsibilities Policy Research & Analysis Conduct in-depth research on existing support schemes, policies, and programmes related to employment, employability, and workplace inclusion for women. This includes identifying gaps in current frameworks, particularly those affecting caregivers and women returning to the workforce. The intern will contribute insights to inform WAF’s advocacy and policy recommendations. Resource Development for Advocacy Support the creation of engaging and informative resources to promote WAF’s key advocacy messages. This may include developing videos, infographics, booklets, and other communication materials that highlight issues such as flexible work arrangements, workplace fairness, and family-friendly policies. Candidate Profile Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise information from multiple sources. Good written and verbal communication skills. Creative and able to translate complex ideas into engaging content, such as infographics, videos, or other advocacy materials. Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with design tools is a plus. A team player who is proactive, resourceful, and passionate about women’s empowerment and workplace inclusion.
