Find your future with us.We are seeking for Accountant to join Boeing Poland team in Gdansk and support overall Finance and Accounting operations in country. As a member of our diverse and inclusive team you will play an important role and your mission will be to perform statutory accounting and to work with multiple functions across the entire organization from around the world to ensure the correct reflection of the statutory accounting in our ERP system.You also will be responsible for working on statutory accounting and compliance, tax reporting, audits, process improvement projects and other financial tasks.This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.Position Responsibilities: Prepare, review and approve journal entries and GL accounts reconciliationEnsure the accuracy of accounting entries and account reconciliations for assigned entitiesSupport month end, quarter and year end closing activities for assigned entities and timely review of reconciliation of all GL accountsPreparation of management accounts reportsVariance analysis report out to leadershipSupport the tax declaration process (VAT, CIT, etc) as well as any statistical reporting requirements.Support with statutory compliance activities: preparation and review of financial statements, external audit supportRepresentation of the company towards external stakeholders Tax Office, Central Statistics Office, National bankParticipate as a subject matter expert in key business initiatives and activities to support business growthBe involved in improving the quality of processes and systemsDrive initiatives in projects regarding continuous improvement and optimization. This also includes driving process optimization through automation and robotizationPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):Bachelor Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent5 or more years of relevant work experience in international accounting environmentExperienced in all aspects of financial accountingStrong written and oral communications in English and Polish. Other language is a plusProficient computer skills with MS Office including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel.ERP and accounting systems skills (Experience in following system is plus: Oracle, SAP, Blackline, etc) Core competencies:Knowledge of local accounting principles, including US GAAP and IFRSExcellent team work and communication skills, self-motivated and able to work individuallyAbility to handle diverse workload and work in deadline dedicated environmentAbility to work in independently in a complex, multi-market operationsEnjoy driving change and efficiencyWell organized with ability to prioritize tasks Proactive, process driven, analytical approach to problem solvingSelf-motivated and ability to work unsupervised on own initiativesAbility to work in deadline dedicated environmentWork Authorization:This requisition is for a locally hired position in Poland.
