About the Project: We are currently seeking a professional Sign Language Translator to join the DeafAbility team, an Erasmus+ KA2 project dedicated to empowering the Deaf community through accessible education. We are looking for freelancers to translate specific educational materials.The Role: You will be provided with existing video content (spoken/text) and will need to record yourself performing the sign language translation. It is a completely remote opportunity.Languages Required: International Sign Language (ISL) and/or Latvian Sign Language (LSL).Volume: Approximately 1 - 2 hours of total content. Several short videos ranging from 2 to 10 minutes each.Deliverables: Raw video files of the signed translation.Technical Requirements: We do not require you to perform advanced video editing. Our internal team will handle post-production (cutting, color correction, overlays). However, the raw recording must be of good quality.Compensation Rate: Discussable. Please submit your quote for the total project volume (approx. 1 - 2 hours of finished content) or your hourly rate. We are open to negotiation based on experience and qualifications.This project is funded by the Erasmus+ program.
