International Multiplication ManagerIn shortYou will help secure the future of sugar beet seeds on a global scaleThis is a global role for in seed production / multiplication & supply.You are taking a central role in securing the seed backbone of the business: you are at the intersection of agronomy, supply chain and long term resilience of the company.Regular travel (intra-European and Inter-Continental)Open work location (at least 17 countries already have an active payroll) as long as you are at reasonable distance from an international airportFluency in English, French & Italian being an advantageAbout United Beet SeedsUnited Beet Seeds is a joint venture between Groupe Florimond Desprez and DLF Seeds A/S, specialising in all aspects of sugar beet seed research, production, processing and commercialisation.They leverage combined strengths and extensive expertise to expand opportunities for growers and industry in the global beet and chicory seed markets.UBS has a strong focus on innovation and quality, resulting in high-performing and sustainable varieties.Headquartered in Belgium, the company employs over 900 people worldwide.Role purposeThe International Multiplication Manager is responsible for executing international multiplication programs and ensuring the quality, cost efficiency and resilience of UBS’s multiplication network.You translate long-range multiplication plans into concrete crop programs: selecting methods and geographies, engaging growers, managing nurseries and securing certified seed supply across key regions.You take ownership of the tactical and operational execution so that strategic leaders can focus on long term portfolio and capacity decisions.Reporting line: directly to the Head of Strategic Supply.Key ResponsibilitiesYou execute international multiplication programsYou focus on methods, geographies & technical optimisationYou engage a grower network, optimise land and contractsYou ensure compliance improvement & KPIYour ProfileExperience and background5–8 years of experience in agricultural production, seed multiplication or crop operations management.Experience managing multi-site or multi-country operations, ideally with external grower networks.Strong understanding of regional agronomy, crop cycles and seed production systems, preferably in Southern and Western Europe.Familiarity with seed certification processes and quality compliance standards.EducationBachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Crop Production or a related field.Master’s degree or additional certification in Seed Technology, Supply Chain or Crop Science is a strong advantage.Skills and competenciesOperationally focused, able to connect field execution to broader planning goals.Strong organisational and coordination skills across geographies, teams and timelines.Confident in evaluating and applying diverse multiplication techniques and recommending the right method for each context.Effective communicator and collaborator, able to navigate between local realities and global alignment.Data informed decision maker, comfortable working with performance indicators and adapting programs accordingly.Resilient and adaptable in seasonal, fast moving environments, with a mix of humility and agility in the way you approach challenges.MindsetGenuine appetite for development work: building and improving systems rather than just maintaining them.High learning agility and curiosity, able to transfer experience from other crops or regions into the beet and chicory context.Pragmatic and hands on, willing to spend significant time in the field and with partners.LanguagesEnglish: fluent, both spoken and written.Italian or French: strong advantage.Any additional European language is a plus.Work environmentUBS is flexible in terms of your work location (main base) and payroll as long as you :are ready to travel regularly (both to HQ and growers around the world)Live at a reasonable distance from an international airportYou will report onto the Head of strategic supply
