This project will provide clerical office support for Air Force Accession Center (AFAC) operations. These services will be remotely supporting 65 Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) across the continental United States. The Quality Specialist will help determine whether recruitment applicants meet the medical standards established by Congress and the Military Services at one of the USMEPCOM geographically dispersed facilities. Key Responsibilities: Develop and oversee quality improvement projects to enhance patient care. Analyze workflow data to identify areas for improvement and track progress.

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with healthcare quality standards and regulations. Provide training and education to healthcare staff on quality improvements strategies and best practices. Prepare detailed reports on quality improvement efforts and their outcomes. Participate in the development and review of military policies and procedures to ensure they meet standards. Work closely with healthcare professionals to implement and monitor quality improvement plans. Completes required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.

QualificationsRequired Skills and Knowledge: Minimum of four (4) years' experience in quality management or equivalent healthcare experience. Knowledge of Quality Management best practices and how to execute and implement them. Ability to prepare and conduct management briefings to communicate recommendations to supervisory authority. Working knowledge of Microsoft 365. Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to work autonomously. Education Required:   Bachelor's of Arts or Science in a relevant healthcare field of study. Physical Requirements: Sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending/stooping, kneeling, twisting.

Visual acuity. Minimal hearing loss. Push/pull/carry minimum 15 lbs. Other Special Qualifications: Must have a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) at the time the services are performed and must maintain the level of security required for the life of the contract. Additional InformationPay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
