Job Description

Heidelberg Materials Trading is the international trading arm of the Heidelberg Materials Group, handling overseas dry-bulk products exports and imports. For our Dubai office, we are looking for dynamic talents to join our team as;International Tax Specialist / Senior SpecialistKey Responsibilities:Maintain close contacts and exchange information with external service providers. Collect and update the intercompany agreement schedules and all transfer pricing documentation used for compliance and planning purposes, as necessary. Support planning and analysis regarding the structuring of inter-company transactions and the associated arm’s length transfer pricing to achieve compliance with regulations and drive tax efficiency. Support the development and implementation of Transfer Pricing Policies in coordination with Heidelberg Materials Group Tax Department in Heidelberg. Oversight of transfer pricing due diligence in connection with M&A opportunities. Provide technical support and subject matter expertise for all transfer pricing inquiries in transfer pricing audits, controversies, and litigation. Manage the tax calendar and ensure that all filing and payment deadlines are met on time. Prepare and review reconciliations of tax accrual and expense accounts. Obtain essential accounting and operating information from other departments necessary for complete and accurate returns and tax provisions. Manage and support external tax consultants in the preparation of the annual tax returns. Assist with indirect tax compliance, including sales and use, GST, and VAT. Check the accuracy, integrity, completeness, and consistency of financial reporting and tax reporting provided by other companies in Heidelberg Materials Group.Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements such as cash flow tax, accumulated profit & loss, balance sheet, etc.Check and support the accounting process.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCertified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification is a plus.Minimum of 2 years of experience in international tax, accounting, or related fields.Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in EnglishUnderstanding of local and international invoicing, banking, credit, collection, and commercial contracts.Experience with international financial reporting, accounting, and consolidation standardsStrong knowledge of international tax laws and regulationsExperience in managing relationships with external tax advisors and auditors.Working experience with Turkish taxation rules and Commercial CodeExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and cultures.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment.Strong customer focus (internal and external).We thank all applicants for their interest, but only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.All applications will be kept strictly confidential.
