You will also be able to interact with our French team made of expert scientists in both quantum and data science. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research and potentially see your work published in scientific journalsYour Key ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a motivated third or fourth year undergraduate student, or a graduate student for a research internship developing cutting-edge hybrid quantum-classical algorithms. Projects include developing quantum-assisted machine learning models and applying classical machine learning techniques for quantum. More precisely, you will:Become familiar with the latest advancements in quantum machine learningDesign, implement and optimize hybrid quantum machine learning algorithmsRequirementsYou are currently enrolled in a Canadian university or in a higher education program in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields You have strong hands-on experience in Machine Learning/Deep Learning: implementation and training of neural networks (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers...), good knowledge of optimization techniques and gradient-based learning, experience with data preprocessing techniques and tools You have a robust background in physics You master PyTorch You can propose creative solutions to complex problems You have interest in quantum computing You are curious and love solving problems You have strong communication skills and you are fluent in English (bonus if you speak French)How to apply In your application, please: Provide a CV Describe your motivation for joining Quandela List any previous our current relevant courses, experience or internship that relate to artificial intelligence and/or quantum computing Specify your period of availability Specify wether you need a student visa for this internship Deadline to apply: October, 31st, 2025 BenefitsWe offer a unique, challenging, international research environment with supervision by expert scientists and engineers.
