It has been based in Brussels since 1962 as the representation of the European ceramic industry to the EU institutions. At EU level, the industry is involved in policy debates in the fields of construction, environment, energy & climate change, international trade and research & innovation. For more information on Cerame-Unie and the European ceramic industry, please see our website: www.cerameunie.eu.The Intern Will Gain Practical Knowledge And Better Understanding Of EU Institutions And International Processes With a Specific Focus On EU Environment, Health & Safety And Sustainability Topics While Carrying Out Different TasksSupport in regulatory activities in the fields of environment, health and safety (e.g. Industrial Emissions, Ceramics BREF review, REACH, OSH, circular economy; housing and construction…)Support in collecting and analysing environmental dataSupport in communication activities (e.g. writing of newsletter articles, meeting minutes)Support of event organisation and promotionParticipation in external events and meetingsProfileEducational background in European studies, political science, economics, or law;Studies in engineering or science are a plus;Knowledge of European environmental policy and manufacturing processes are a plus;Previous experience with European institutions is an advantage;Very good command of written and spoken English, other languages are an asset;Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously;Excellent knowledge of Windows tools including Excel, Word, Power Point.The position is available starting from December 2025 for 6 months.If interested, please send your CV and motivation letter to Ms Aurore de Schrevel (deschrevel@cerameunie.eu).
