Interpretive Designer / Senior Interpretive DesignerPLB is a leading design consultancy specialising in museums and heritage interpretation and we are currently expanding our team. We are looking for talented designers full of great ideas and the ability to communicate them effectively. Do you have the energy, enthusiasm and commitment to become a valued team member?As an Interpretive Designer at PLB, you will play a key role in developing and delivering imaginative, high-quality interpretation and exhibition design across heritage, museum, and visitor experience projects. Working collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and external specialists, you will help translate stories, collections, and ideas into engaging visitor experiences that inform, inspire, and connect with diverse audiences.You will support the design process from concept to delivery, producing creative, practical, and sustainable design solutions. You will bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and attention to detail to every stage of your work, contributing to PLB’s reputation for creativity, collaboration, and excellence.The successful individual will be challenge oriented and have the ability to spin a large amount of plates in the air at any one time. Personality-wise you should be open and engaging, a true creative, that is also process-driven.Full-time hours considered: 5 day week, 9 day fortnight or 4 day week.Salary: dependent on experienceStudio location: Central York (close to the Railway station), with parking and hybrid work practices [currently 3 days within the studio, 2 days remote working]PLB is an equal opportunities employer
