We're looking for a creative and innovative Design Manager Apparel Outdoor to join our team at INTERSPORT. You will develop market-relevant design concepts for our brand and category, focusing on sustainability and achieving the best value for money. Responsibilities: Develop and execute seasonal creative concepts, color cards, and commercial stories. Collaborate with PLMs and Development teams.
Brief external partners, ensuring ESG considerations in design. Design products to meet target pricing, integrating development and sourcing know-how. Present category assets at milestone presentations. Create color merchandising overviews. Maintain design consistency across brands and categories. Stay informed on industry trends and competition. Manage design projects, including 3D adoption, branding guidelines, and packaging adaptations. Network with stakeholders to set or follow trends. Align creative vision with commercial goals. Requirements and skillsKnowledge of the sporting goods market and INTERSPORT's business model. Ability to translate design concepts into commercial products, primarily in apparel. Expertise in product development processes, materials, and workmanship.
Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and 3D design. Strong project and time management skills. Knowledge of sustainable design practices and ESG considerations. Professional and educational backgroundOver 3 years of experience in project and design roles, ideally in the sporting goods industry.
