Fountain Tire is seeking a dedicated Inventory Analyst to be a key player in our dynamic Inventory team based at our South Edmonton Corporate Head Office! Together, the following benefits reflect our core purpose helping people get there - safely, sustainably, and successfully.Competitive salary $78,000+ per year (depending on experience)A Short-Term Incentive Program (STIP) with a target incentive of 10% annually to recognize your contributions to the organization.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits along with life insurance and short/long term disability programsCompetitive RRSP program with company matching, helping you plan for a secure and successful retirementPolicies and programs that support a balanced lifestyle and an easy commute to our office located close to Calgary Trail and the Southside Anthony HendayDiscounts for you and your family on tires, parts, and services at all Fountain Tire locationsKey ResponsibilitiesPerform the analysis and optimization of all Inventory product categories including replenishment strategy, demand classification, product lifecycle management, and obsolete/slow-moving inventory managementWork with Operations and Stores to determine the optimal inventory stocking strategy to meet the sales planAssist the Product and Pricing team in the optimization of the product lineup, sales analysis and forecasting to align inventory purchases with the sales plan while operating within the working capital budgetWork with the Customer Service team to streamline inventory transactions and maximize store satisfactionWork with the Finance team to keep categories on target and ensure all inventory transactions are processed correctly and efficientlyWork with Suppliers to address supply chain variabilityIdentify opportunities to improve inventory processes and technology to meet and exceed Supply benchmarksWhat does it take to get on track?3-5 years working in a Supply Chain capacity is preferredBachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is an assetExperience working with tires (passenger vehicle, farm, or industrial) in an inventory management role is an asset.Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis with Microsoft Excel is a considerable assetAnalytical abilities, deductive reasoning, and critical thinking skills with a focus on detail and accuracyExceptional communication, organizational, and time management skillsAbility to work collaboratively and cross functionally with internal and external stakeholdersResults-oriented and focused on goal setting to meet and/or exceed budgets and KPI targetsAt Fountain Tire, you would have a great place to work!
