Inventory & Logistics Specialist | Contract

Job Description

ResponsibilitiesCoordinate provision scheduling, setup, and communication with both internal teams and external clients to ensure smooth operations. Conduct quarterly performance evaluations for dedicated provision providers to maintain service standards. Perform discovery and research to identify potential new port itineraries that align with operational goals. Collaborate with Supply Chain Logistics, Trade Compliance, and external partners to ensure seamless coordination across functions. Ensure accuracy of purchase order (PO) data and work closely with Expeditors to monitor standard shipments and manage expedited logistics requests. Analyze workflows to identify areas for improvement and provide strategic recommendations to enhance efficiency. Engage in cross-training initiatives to support onboard hotel stores operations and promote team flexibility. Oversee the Coupa Ordering System and receipt processes for third-party food and beverage vendors. Organize and facilitate staff meetings with Hotel Stores Managers to ensure alignment and effective communication. Maintain the accuracy and effectiveness of training programs to support operational excellence. RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience Must have 3+ years of experience in the cruise line industry or back-of-house food and beverage operations Experience in hotel logistics, inventory, warehousing, 3PL, hotel storekeeping Operational excellence with existing cruise line’s and provisions. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to change Proficient computer skills – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and various databases Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and good organizational skills
