We’re a team of dedicated people driving this mission by providing better, faster, and cheaper ways to access food through technology.Role overviewTo function as the inventory and receiving officer for Calo Kitchen, to monitor and report on the company’s inventory. Your job is important since the efficient handling of the company’s products and supplies is critical for the attainment of business goals.The successful inventory and receiving personnel is a reliable professional with excellent record-keeping abilities. They possess great attention to detail and a business mindset. The goal is to ensure that all business operations have adequate material to achieve their objectives.Main ResponsibilitiesDevise ways to optimize inventory control proceduresEnsure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customersRecord daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventoryRecord daily Warehouse transfers to KitchenMaintain FEFO (First Expiry First Out) on inventory movementsUse Microsoft Office tools to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventoryAlert the buyers on stock, avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplusCollaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are metReport to upper management on stock levels, issues, etcResourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situationComply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standardsMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkersIdeal CandidateQualificationsMust have had previous proven experience as an inventory and receiving officer or similar positionMust have a minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory and stock management within the restaurant, hotel, or production facility (food) industriesMust be proficient with Microsoft Excel / Google SheetsMust be currently present in OmanMust be a proficient communicator in EnglishEnsuring health, hygiene, and safety regulations are complied with and applied in the department in compliance with HACCP standards and procedures is a major plusGood understanding of food safetyKnowledge and competencyExcellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methodsAbility to accurately track inventory and create reportsAn analytical mind with excellent organizational and planning skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilitiesReliable and trustworthyPersonalityA well-spoken, strong communicatorPleasant personality and able to lead with empathy and patiencePowered by JazzHRq6jIKwdJyI
