Experience the challenges, rewards and opportunity of working for one of the world’s largest providers of products and services to the global energy industry.Job DutiesUnder broad direction, leads materials inventory planning requirements for one or more PSLs/ Countries, or NWA's to help provide seamless integration of PML and operations processes.Collaborates with PSL and Business Development (BD) staff, manufacturing, external suppliers, and logistics personnel to ensure inventory levels are optimized to meet business requirements.Ensures that inventory levels are aligned to PSL demand plans, business needs are met and inventory costs minimized.Provides guidance and may assign work to less experienced staff.Provides inventory planning subject matter expertise to leadership.Responsible for planning activities such as recommendations for inventory stocking levels, forecasting and management of surplus inventory.Will have direct impact and responsibility to meet financial goals and objectives for the business.Job scope can include training and leading teams.QualificationsRequires completion of a two year degree; a four year undergraduate degree in business administration, materials management, industrial distribution, engineering or similar discipline preferred.Seven years related experience in materials management which includes experience in procurement or logistics or a four year degree plus 3 years related work experience required.Strong computer skills and analytical abilities to resolve problems required.Halliburton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
