A Snapshot of Your DayYou will make a significant contribution to the success of our global fleet of Gas Turbines in Siemens Energy. You will work together with teammates around the globe supporting both our new part business and our repair facility in Charlotte! You will collaborate with our global project colleagues to support their needs and ensure we deliver to our customers’ requirements.How You’ll Make An ImpactSupport team with open purchase order maintenance in SAP including but not limited to: GR/IR discrepancies, Missing PO confirmation, Material Master discrepancies, Delivery dates in past, and Exception messages.Support Planning and Inventory Management team with other tasks ad-hoc.Suggest and lead process improvements to effectively complete work.Procurement of new parts and launch of repairs; assurance of delivery capability while optimizing inventory levels.Use Alert Dashboards to identify open items in SAP system and resolve.Documenting business processes.What You BringBachelor’s degree in supply chain, business or in a related field.3+ years of knowledge of Inventory Management and Supply Chain experience. 3+ years of experience resolving SAP purchase order issues, with strong ability to run, interpret, and manipulate data from SAP reports.Ability to run reports out of SAP and manipulate/understand data. Strong analytical skills.Pro-active approach, strong organizational and computer skills (MS excel). Ability to use the following IT Tools is a plus, Alteryx, WinShuttle, etc.Detail oriented, organized, and able to effectively manage multiple prioritiesEffective interpersonal skills and must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.About The TeamGas ServicesOur Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization.
