Role Description We are seeking a dedicated Investigative Reporter for a full-time, on-site role based in the Albany, New York Metropolitan Area. The Investigative Reporter will be responsible for conducting in-depth investigations, developing compelling stories, and presenting findings on-air. Responsibilities include researching topics, utilizing computer-assisted reporting tools, conducting interviews, and collaborating with the production team to deliver high-quality, accurate, and timely news content. The role requires the ability to handle tight deadlines while maintaining journalistic integrity and professionalism. Qualifications Expertise in Investigative Reporting and Reporting to uncover and present in-depth and impactful storiesProficiency in Computer-assisted Reporting techniques for data analysis and information gatheringStrong skills in Broadcasting to deliver news effectively across television and digital platformsExceptional Writing skills to craft accurate, engaging, and audience-focused contentRelevant experience in journalism or related fieldsBachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related fieldAbility to work in a fast-paced newsroom with adherence to tight deadlinesStrong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with colleagues and community membersFamiliarity with media law and ethical journalism practices
