The New York City Business Integrity Commission is a combined law enforcement and regulatory agency with jurisdiction over the trade waste industry and the public wholesale markets. Under supervision, the candidate with work with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies in the investigation of organized crime activities and other criminal activities, and conduct background, civil, and criminal investigations of public wholesale market businesses and of commercial waste removal companies.Responsibilities will include but not be limited to conducting interviews, preparing detailed reports, conducting surveillances, and developing, collecting and analyzing intelligence information.COMMUNITY ASSOCIATE - 56057Minimum QualificationsQualification Requirements High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.Preferred SkillsEducational or work experience in criminal law and the criminal justice system. -Valid drivers license with significant driving experience. -Ability to work various shifts and hours as required.Public Service Loan ForgivenessAs a prospective employee of the City of New York, you may be eligible for federal loan forgiveness programs and state repayment assistance programs.
