Join us as an Investment Advisor in our Private Banking and Wealth Management team based in Geneva.As an Investment Advisor you will be responsible for advising clients and Relationship Managers on investment opportunities, ensuring solutions are both suitable and strategically aligned with client objectives, while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and risk awareness.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Data Analysis & ReportingCollect, analyze and interpret clients’ financial dataDevelop tailored reporting and ad hoc analyses on portfolio performance, risks, and opportunitiesImplementation & Support within Investment AdvisoryContribute to the development and implementation of investment products and services, in coordination with investment advisorsProvide analytical and technical support to investment advisorsBuild strong expertise in a wide range of investment solutions (equities, bonds, funds, alternative investments)Investment Advisory & Client SupportPrepare and deliver detailed investment proposals and presentations, tailored to clients’ profiles, objectives, and risk appetiteMonitor the performance of implemented investmentsRisk Management & ComplianceIdentify, assess and monitor investment risks across products and client portfoliosEnsure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, local laws, and internal Barclays policiesDocument, escalate, and report anomalies or breaches in accordance with compliance proceduresEssential CriteriaFluent in English and French (spoken and written)Previous experience within financial servicesDeep understanding of investment products and financial marketsDesirable CriteriaFluency in German and/or ItalianStrong commercial acumen with a client-focused mindsetHigh attention to detail and analytical thinkingExcellent multitasking and time management skills in a dynamic environmentThis role is based in Geneva.You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.Purpose of the roleTo develop and manage the success of specific financial products and services, providing in-depth expertise on a particular product line, bridging the gap between product development, marketing, sales, and customer service.AccountabilitiesProvision of SME expertise on specific products and services to customers and colleagues, including features, functionalities, benefits, limitations, risks and compliance.Understanding of market trends, new features, regulatory requirements and potential risks, and analysis of data obtained from sales figures and, customer feedback, to support the product development process, and communicate key findings to relevant stakeholders to improve product offerings.Response to customer inquiries, attend client meetings and obtain a detailed understanding of complex personal / corporate financial circumstances in order to provide options for suitable product solutions. Support with resolution of issues, and provision of guidance on product usage.  .Presentation of the advantages and features of the product to potential customers, building trust and encouraging adoption.Assistance with the development and execution of marketing materials for the product, such as pitch materials and client presentations.Participation in training sessions and workshops to share product knowledge and expertise with colleagues and other stakeholders.Participation in events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to showcase the product and generate interest.Assistant Vice President ExpectationsTo advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness.
