Location: Remote, in EuropeOur client is a private investment company acquiring and scaling vertical market software businesses across Europe. They are seeking a highly analytical and ambitious Investment Analyst to support their growing M&A and due diligence operations.This is a hands-on role at the intersection of deal sourcing, financial analysis, and post-acquisition integration — ideal for a candidate who wants to learn the full investment lifecycle and develop a pan-European career in software M&A.Key Responsibilities:Research and profile potential software acquisition targets across Europe, gathering data on size, financials, competitors, and market trends.Support outreach to company owners and executives through email, LinkedIn, phone, and industry events.Prepare valuation models, pre-due-diligence materials, and investment memoranda for internal deal discussions.Perform and coordinate commercial due diligence, ensuring all workstreams (financial, legal, tax, technical) are completed on time.Own data room management, documentation, and version control throughout each transaction.Schedule and summarize findings from management, team, and customer interviews.Prepare Board materials, final investment models, and executive summaries.After acquisitions, assist with integration planning, KPI dashboards, and progress tracking for portfolio companies.Document early integration results and ensure consistent communication of portfolio achievements.Requirements:2–4 years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or M&A.Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; ability to analyze P&L statements and valuation models.Familiarity with SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, NRR/GRR, CAC payback, unit economics).Proven ability to conduct market and competitive research with attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication in English; knowledge of Eastern European or Baltic languages is an advantage.Strong organizational and analytical mindset; structured, precise, and reliable under pressure.Comfortable working remotely within a fast-paced, international investment environment.
