Position – Investment Analyst/ AssociateSummary:The incumbent will be a part of the investment team of Neo Special Credit Opportunities Fund and will play a key role in analyzing various investment opportunities and taking them to meaningful closure. Role will involve evaluating various investment opportunities by doing thorough diligence, developing sector/industry understanding, preparing investment models and memos, presenting to investment committees, negotiating the transaction documents and regular monitoring of portfolio companies post investment. Job Responsibilities: Analysis of potential investment opportunitiesAnalysis of macro and micro economic factors impacting the targetPreparation of financial modelPreparation of investment memos to be put up to Investment CommitteesEngaging with external diligence agencies and lawyers to finalize diligences and transaction documentsPost investment monitoring of investee companiesTaking corrective steps for improving performance of investee companies, if requiredPreparing internal discussion memos for investment appraisal of investee companiesTaking recovery steps for realization of invested amount, if requiredPreparation of various communications to be sent out to investors Academic Qualification and Experience: Qualification - Chartered Accountant (Ranker preferred) or MBAExperience - 0-5 yearsField of Experience – Experience in the field of debt investments/ credit evaluation/investment banking Knowledge, Competency and Skills requirement: In depth understanding of Financial StatementsProficiency with MS-Exceland MS-PowerPointStrong analytical and quantitative skillsand the abilityto create/gather/analyze dataNeo Group TodayNumber of Employees: 700 +Asset Management: AUM of ~₹ 17,000 Cr under multiple fundsNeo Wealth Management: Asset Under Advisory of ~₹ 60,000 Cr NSCOF: Neo Special Credit Opportunities Fund, one of the flagship funds of Neo Asset Management, is a closed-ended credit fund that aims to address special situations such as working-capital needs, growth funding, refinancing, acquisition financing, and loan-against-shares where traditional bank/NBFC access is limited
