You will work closely with senior investment professionals to evaluate potential investment opportunities, conduct market research, and assist with due diligence processes. This internship will provide you with valuable exposure to all aspects of private equity investing, from sourcing deals to portfolio management.Key Responsibilities:Market Research & Industry Analysis: Conduct thorough research on ecommerce trends, market dynamics, and emerging business models to support investment decision-making.Investment Sourcing & Deal Flow: Assist in identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities within the ecommerce space. Help manage deal flow and track potential investments.Financial Analysis & Modeling: Prepare and assist in the development of financial models, including valuations, return analysis, and sensitivity analysis for potential investments.Due Diligence Support: Work with the investment team to perform due diligence on prospective investments, including financial, operational, and legal assessments.Portfolio Management Assistance: Help track portfolio performance, assist with investor reporting, and provide operational support as needed for portfolio companies.Presentation & Reporting: Support the creation of internal and external presentations, including investment memos, deal reports, and board updates.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams (e.g., legal, operations, and finance) to ensure smooth execution of transactions and investments.Qualifications:Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Prior experience or coursework in private equity, venture capital, or ecommerce is a plus.Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with a deep understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques, and market research.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
