Our client, a leading global investment bank with a first-class reputation across the Financial Institutions sector, is seeking a talented and driven Associate to join its high-performing FIG team in London.This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious banking professional to join a market-leading platform, gaining hands-on experience in complex, high-profile transactions across banking, insurance, fintech, and specialty finance.The Role:As part of the FIG team, you’ll play a key role in supporting the origination and execution of M&A, equity, and debt transactions, working closely with senior colleagues and directly engaging with clients across EMEA. The position offers exceptional exposure, strong mentorship, and a clear pathway to progression.Key Responsibilities:Support the execution of M&A, capital markets, and strategic advisory transactions within the FIG space.Conduct financial modelling, valuation analysis, and preparation of pitch materials.Perform in-depth sector and company research to support client engagement and deal execution.Contribute to origination initiatives and client presentations.Collaborate across product and coverage teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions.Candidate Profile:3–5 years’ experience in investment banking, ideally within FIG or a related coverage group.Strong technical skill set including financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.Excellent academic background, with a degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline.Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and clients.This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate seeking to deepen their expertise within a high-profile sector and contribute to one of the most respected FIG franchises in the market.
