You will work on a variety of M&A and Capital Market transactions, as well as advisory assignments, for a broad range of companies in a diverse set of industries. Our deal team structure allows you to work closely with senior professionals on a daily basis and to be an integral part of our coverage and deal teams. This will quickly translate in significant impact and increased responsibility.Your position Contributing to the team’s prospection efforts by preparing tailored pitches and participating to their commercial presentation towards potential clients Managing and assisting in the execution of transactions Drafting and delivering impactful presentations for clients and other third parties Creating financial models and carry out in-depth analyses of companies, industries and markets Assisting in the coordination of collaboration between clients, advisors and other third parties Enhancing the team’s capabilities by training, guiding and supervising Analysts and InternsYour profile You have strong analytical skills and go beyond the data to turn them into impactful insights and recommendations You are passionate about M&A, capital markets and corporate strategy You have min. 3 years of professional experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Corporate Development You have an outstanding academic background (preferably a master degree in (applied) economics, business engineering, or civil engineering or law with an additional finance degree) You are fluent in Dutch and English with proficiency in French You have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing You have a strong client-oriented mindset and learning attitude You thrive in a fast-paced, multifaceted and team-oriented professional environment You are committed to excellence and willing to maintain high professional standardsOur offerFor more than 150 years, Degroof Petercam has been a reference investment house.
