Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities Deal OriginationPerform fundamental, financial and credit analysis for client funding or corporate requirementsPreparation of high-quality pitch book across capital raising and advisory mandates for client meetings and follow-upsMonitor and analyse market data, events and preparation of regular market updates and pricing updates to clientsCross border and cross unit collaborate within the CIMB Group to jointly originate loan syndication dealsDeal ExecutionSupport the team in obtaining internal approvals such as preparation of conflict clearance, debt underwriting approval memo, managing deal documentation and timelineCoordinate deal execution between all internal and external stakeholders and deal team members to ensure smooth execution from mandate to deal closingDeal execution aspects include due diligence, structuring, documentation, ratings, investor marketing, roadshow planning, settlement, and preparation of deal case studiesEngage and build relationship with client working level teams to ensure smooth deal executionRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related discipline (strong academic performance) CMFAS 4A (Advisory on Corporate Finance) At least 2-3 years relevant experience in Debt Capital Markets and/or Equity Capital MarketsStrong knowledge in accounting and credit fundamentals, financial modeling Knowledge on standard market terms and syndication operating procedures in running syndication deals Familiar with the APLMA networking platform Commercial awareness and genuine interest in financial marketsStrong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Excellent written and verbal communication skills Team player with strong interpersonal skillsSelf motivated, resourceful, and able to take initiativeProfessionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deals, and meet tight deadlines High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and willingness to work long hours for critical pitching or deal closure periods
