Mercer Switzerland is seeking candidates for the following position in Zurich to support the growth of our investment team:Investments – Business Development–Switzerland (80 - 100 %)What can you expect?In this newly created position, you actively participate in the development of our investment activities in Switzerland. You’re experienced in business development activities in the institutional investment sectors within the Swiss market? In that case, we look forward to receiving your application.We will count on you to:Be responsible for active market development with a strong focus on prospecting as well as management and development of the client network in Switzerland (German and or French Speaking part) with a focus on institutional client segments (pension funds, insurance companies, private banks & wealth managers, family offices and foundations,).Respond to RfPs in collaboration with respective Swiss client segment specialists and client managers as well as the support of our Business Development support and specialist teams.Prepare high-quality offers based on client needs in collaboration with our local and international product, research, and investment specialists.Act as global investment advisor for institutional clients in collaboration with respective specialists across all asset classes including the full breadth of alternative investments.Prepare high-quality presentations and reports for clients, leveraging Mercer's research and data analysis tools.Support ad hoc client requests and other investment advisory activities.What you need to have: Several years of relevant professional experience in business development / sales with a proven track record in Switzerland.Good understanding of financial investments especially private marketsVery strong affinity for investment solution sales, but also interest in the support and advice of clients.High team-orientation and effective collaboration with various stakeholders across functions and countries to achieve optimal results.Analytical and solution-oriented working method.Fluency in any one or more official Swiss language is an advantage (Swiss) as well as English.
